I traveled from Tokyo Station to Kyoto Station (æ±äșŹé§ ăăäșŹéœé§ ) by Japanâs biggest double decker highway bus (2éć»șăŠé«éăăč). The route name of the luxury bus (é«çŽăăč) is Gran Hiru Tokkyu 3 (ă°ă©ăłæŒçčæ„3ć·) operated by JR Bus Kanto (JRăăčéąæ±). The name of the express bus is Scania Astromega (ăčă«ăăąèŁœăąăčăăăĄăŹ). I booked a front row seat on the 2nd floor with a great view of Japan (æćććž ćéąć±æ). The three-row independent seats (3ćçŹç«ă·ăŒă) on this bus are called the Cradle Seats (ăŻăŹă€ăă«ă·ăŒă) and promise a comfortable bus trip like first class (ăăĄăŒăčăăŻă©ăč). If you plan a similar trip in the future, I recommend booking your ticket on the Expressway Bus Net (é«éăăčăăă). English is also available.
